Italy is the squarest bet in this game, yes they are favorites but value wise it's not worth it at all.

you might be right johon8 but with + money it could be worth it.. especially cause no one in here but squirrel is on Italy. everyone else likes the draw/

Italy has one of the worst teams in recent past, but they will always be the favorites against these kind of teams. Seeing how slow the Cup began, with everyone focusing heavily on defense, this should go UNDER easily. Wouldn't surprise me if it finished 0-0.

You're not wrong, Italy has a good enough coach/team to pull out a win even if they are outplayed so they should win, and it's an opener so Italy definitely doesn't want to look bad in this game.

Paraguay won over Brazil and Argentina in the qualifications to this World Cup, they aren't exactly pushovers. Italy has a pretty good team though... old... but experienced... old... but good.

i dont know too much about soccer but the way i figure it the results are like a role of a dice on this one ; win draw or lose==> 2 to 1
i got para ML now at +298 ==> payout of 3 to 1

i know in poker this would be a good bet if you got a hand with options.. cant u apply the same principle in sports betting? afaik paraguay isn't all that bad, & ita is getting old (as ive read, again: i know nothing

difficult match, u know we can t underestimate paraguay, but italians know their jobs, ht 0 0 is good option, both teams are favourite and don t wanna loose IMO... this match will separe 1.of the group and 2 one.

Totally agree TurkzZ. And they are rubbish when everybody is expecting something from them. Slow start will make them fresh in round of 16. We have perfect setup here. Freaking odds before tonight in all possible markets (not only to go champs but final four etc). I love Lippi throwing out (not picking) so many stars that everybody is blaming him for, he has decent game plan. I might state that Italy will score an average of below 1,5 goals per game this tournament - and they´ll go further than 1/2 final. So everyone loving goals over brilliant defence will talk rubbish about Italys game after tonight.

A shot of Grappa on me for all of us cheering for Azzurri tonight.
