The Americans that thought we would win this game without a doubt never kicked a soccer ball in their life, much less watched a game.
Im not hating in any way but the thought of you feeling good about yourself for calling a +600 odds underdog not to win is kind of comical in the betting sense, isn't it? Like i said, Im not hating because you had the right call..but look at the odds and think about what you said. THe people who 'KNEW' the US would win are people who just think the US will win at any and everything we show up for.
Just one of those things. The England goal was about half as fluky as the US goal, but it counts just the same. If England was *THAT* much the better team they would have scored a 2nd, or a 3rd, or anything. The US played GREAT defensively, effectively marking out what people say is a Top 3 player in the world for most of the game. Even though you give them a point based on a difficult short hop save, you have to give them credit for only allowing England that one goal and shutting them out for 85+ minutes.
