No inside edge. Spains defence is very suspect. They have conceded 2 times in 3 games already against bad teams. Portugal isnt the greatest team on earth but they have the quality to get 1 by spain.

Okay enough of the spain v portugal game arguments. Everyone is gonna play what they want anyways and most are convinced that Spain is unbeatable and so good. I am not convinced they are special. Lets talk about Japan. What are you guys going to do with that game?

i think most people on this board will be on Portugal +1. Tommy and I are the only ones I see convinced that Spain will qualify. As far as the Japan game, I think we will see a very late goal by either team. Under is the right play in that game.

Ok enough said about Portugal/Spain

Japan have very technical and fast players. They lost to Holland only by 1 goal and had decent chances to be levelled. The group with Holland, Denmark and Cameroon was much tougher than Paraguay's. I think Japan will go further to quarters

Im taking Japan to advance. That will most likely be my only play before the game. I believe it is +160 or so. Paraguay are gonna have lots of trouble with Japans speed. If things dont look good at ht i will adjust accordingly.

I also am leaning Japan and see value on Portugal, Spain hates trying to break down a solid, organized defense, Portugal have a very good defense and keep disciplined defensive and midfield lines giving little space to move. That one could go the distance.

i feel like spain can't be better than brazil and even though portugal didn't score on brazil, i thought for sure they would so i don't think i can be wrong twice in a row like that, if spain wins i see it being 2-1 so portugal at least gets on the board. definitely agreeing with you.
