I went to bed and then figured I'd turn the match back on just to check. Cahill gets a red card and he bloody deserved it too although it seemed a bit severe. Friggin hooligans on this team

No hope the next match without Cahill. Done, done, done.

The germans were determined to get off to another flying start here. At least thats what i read.

If it was Canada I'd be devastated but with this one I'm all good - I'm not a citizen, merely a resident.

I knew this was the mother of all longshots and thought I'd take a crack but I feel badly because they really are done this tournament. I thought the +1 stood a chance but I was wrong. No hope for this team and I never say that. I'm just lucky that I was able to live bet myself out of yet another jam after that 2nd goal. Ended up losing $230 on this one but made $400 on Spewitt so I can't complain. Could've been a lot worse. Nice hit on Wawa by the way!!

My man I've been watching soccer for 15 years. I think I know my share. Germany isn't the same team without Ballack, it has nothing to do with talent, Ballack is their leader and you need a leader to advance far into the world cup. We will see how I do by the time this world cup is over.

Goat you should know Ballack has been washed up for 2 years. They might miss his leadership a bit but they can survive without him now cause they have much better players and the younger players last time around are more well rounded now. Any soccer observer knows that you never count out the Germans regardless of who is playing for them. They will do fine without him. Besides its not like they won anything with him right?

Ballack is way more washed up than Ronaldhino imo. Yeah I think he's been done for awhile but he's a very emotional leader. Let's see who the Germans look to when they are in need of someone like that.

Very nice start for you, this was a easy game to call tbh.

I think they will miss Ballack in the bigger games, he know how to handle the pressure in the huge games, but yes he's getting older and is not as good as he was 06 when he was a huge player for them. Germany were really good today they'll go far.

Denmark is no walkover. I am Dane, and know the team, all players and the stuff around the team pretty well. The Danish team is built on a strong defensive led by Daniel Agger and Simon Kjaer, and with quick backs in the form of Kvist and Mtiliga/Jakobsen .. On the Danish defensive midfield, we got Christian Poulsen .. He will fight his butts off, and willing to use dirty tricks.
Danish media said that the Danes begins with Christian Eriksen on the offensive midfield, just behind Niklas Bendtner. He is one of the biggest talent in the world (only 18 years old). He has shown he can play in top. (played a really great match against Juventus in the UEFA). He is the Danish joker.
One advantage the Danes have is their match-up with Rommedahl aganist van Bronckhorst. Rommedahl will have great advantages because of his speed, and i think the goals should came from the right side.

Overall I think the Danes put themselves back and play for contra! I'm not saying that Denmark is play here, just a reminder for u people that blindly play Netherlands
