Glen Johnson being out is of course a big miss for Liverpool attack as he plays a very critical role down the wings.
I can't see Lyon playing backs to the wall stuff and looking at their lineup, they're playing a variant of the 4-3-3.

I think we'll see Lyon attacking through their left flank all night.
Martin Kelly is a fantastic prospect but he's being played at right back today (his natural position is at centre-back). He'll have to deal with the marauding runs of Cissokho from left back. Kuyt might have a lot of tracking back to do tonight to help the young lad.
