These nations last met each other in the Nations League last year and Haiti won 2-0 in Nicaragua. Form wise Nicaragua lost their last 2 games by 4 goals. Haiti won their last 2. Simply backing the better side.

All the pressure here will be on Egypt as the host nation. Historically the African Cup of Nations is very low scoring. In 2017 the tournament averaged 2.06 goals per game & in 2015 2.13 goals per game. In the first 2 rounds I will be hunting for draws and unders. Form wise out of the past 4 games for both sides 3 have ended under. Feeling like a 1-0, 2-0 result.

A mismatch of epic proportions. Burundi the lowest FIFA ranked nation at the tournament (134) have only won vs the likes of South Sudan (168), Ethiopia (150) & Djibouti (195). Nigeria are ranked #45. The Super Eagles have a market value 18 times that of Burundi. If Nigeria cant win by 2 goals it will be embarrassing

Can Brazil destroy Paraguay? sure they won 3-0 the last time they met. However that was the only time in 5 head to head games that they won. Looking back in 2015 & 2011 It was Paraguay that knocked out Brazil in back to back Copa Americas. The odds here are ridiculous so I'm forced to back the underdog.

*Game at Soldiers Field in Chicago IL. Technically, on USA home soil. But the Mexico/USA game is historically tricky. Mexican fans love soccer. Americans more luke-warm...Mexico likely to have more fans at game (but maybe not as slanted as game in Los Ang).

Benin have held Cameroon & Ghana to draws. Senegal lost to Algeria barely beat Uganda. Outside of Madagascar Benin are the surprise team here in this tournament. Senegal are good but not worth backing at these prices.
