Egypt v Uruguay

Regardless if Mo Salah features or not he will not be anywhere near 100%..If I were the manager leave him on the bench & let him rest for the next 2 winnable games. It looks like it is park the bus vs Uruguay. Egypt has scored only once & that was versus Kuwait in the past 4 games. They also conceded 5 .Going back the last 2 years they only conceded 21 GA in 26 games. I think Egypt will try to frustrate Uruguay but with limited success.

Morocco v Iran

Since I already have a future backing Morocco, I will focus on goals in this game. Both sides are very good in the back. Iran has kept 9 clean sheets in qualifying & Morocco did not give up a single goal against in their quest for Russia. I do think that these sides will have to go for max points knowing what teams await them & a draw will do neither team any good. As soon as one team scores I think that might me it so.....

Lopetegui gets fired from the head job 48 hours before they play Portugal.. I think that might piss of Real players like Ramos, Isco etc. It is Spain still so I expect plenty of possession. The guy taking care of Spain Hierro did calm the team in the 2010 WC when they lost their first game vs the Swiss, but I don't think the players need the drama. Head to head these sides have tied 6 of their past 10 meetings & I think neither side would be too disappointed with that result

The last time these 2 played each other France won 6-0. The French are superior in every position and their B team could take out the Aussies. I will give credit to Australia for some decent results in recent friendlies, they might nick a goal, I just do not see France losing, this one could get ugly.

Argentina v Iceland

I'm not a big fan of either of these teams as the books are overrating both. Talent wise Argentina has the obvious edge. Form wise Iceland has 3 L 1 D in the past 4 including losses to Norway, Mexico & Peru. Argentina has only played 1 game a win vs Haiti to get ready for the WC. Their games vs Israel & Nicaragua have been cancelled. I think Messi & Aguero both will have good days.
