Ghana are Africa's only hope and in a few years if they carry on to be managed well they will be very strong. Essien, Muntari, Appiah and other top stars who missed this African nations will be back.

Egypt is a good competition team, we saw them in the Confederations cup earlier and they have owned the African nations cup for years. Their weakness is not taking the smaller teams in the group stages seriously and slipping up, otherwise they are one of Africa's elite teams.

He has an interesting story, you couldn't make this sh*t up! a Lanus boy through and through, he only played for Lanus and had potential, he got into the youth national team but his career was cut short at the ago of 23 due to injury. Then his team gave him the chance to manage the team and in his first year he got the team into Copa Libertadores and this year they are still going strong. You can see the determination and passion, this team means alot to this guy, at home expect them to fight to the end.

The manager and key player Richardson had a bust up midweek. When Catermole, Richardson and Ferdinand don't play the team has a bad record, all 3 are unlikely to play, even if Cattermole does he won't be 100%. Stoke are underestimated here, they started 2010 well, have improved their form, and could fancy their chances here. Their road form is not the greatest but they did play Man City, Villa and Arsenal in their last 3 away games. The bottom line is these two teams are of the same strength, with one team sinking and the other floating, taking the value play with Stoke.

Tigre started off the the opening of the league like they finished the last one in awful form, they got pounded by Chacarita at home last game. They will be missing a few players and the manager is rotating the team due to the terrrible performances of some players. Rosario are a strong home team, they have a great atmosphere in their stadium and the crowd really gets behind the team. They are best exploiting the weaker sides of the league and have what it takes to beat Tigre today.

i agree totally corinthians are looking alot better this year and withthe addition of robinho you will see how much stronger that team plays he wants to make the national team so we should see him playing at his fullest potential

as for fla the added even more powere with signing of ramon on loan from cska and Rodrigo Alvim to a 3 year deal from wolfsburg when Maldonado gets back in good condition i think it will be very hard to touch that team IMO

Its the La Plata derby and were on the Estu train, as I said before they have been playing through the break and have been in great form and even almost humbled Barcelona in a competitive match. They are a quality side, the same cannot be said for de plata but as its a derby they will give it their all. The thing is especially the smaller sides in Argentina look rusty in the opening weeks. Estu has what it takes to win today and they haven't lost to this team for years now.
