Adelaide needed a win to have any chance at second, which can be helpful with Australia's unique playoff format. I know Wanderers will probably stomp Heart, but Adelaide should have won to at least make Wanders have to go out and do it.

Guess it just didn't mean shit to them, or more likely, they just got outplayed and failed. Oh well. They're cool with being 3rd-5th, not getting a bye and playing on the road in the semifinals if they get there. Newcastle earned it, so hats off ...

I agree. Yeah I'm just seeing it as they qualified in general wouldn't think they would care about going for more.

No doubt. They have been great to back at home in 2014, and Newcastle has been in awful form for a good while now.

At +105, it just seemed like the obvious "best bet" in EPL for Saturday.
