We'll have some kind of daily basketball contest crank up by January, possibly December, probably a two-team parlay bit with monthly prizes through March. Also counting on a brackets contest for the NCAA tourney, and a revamped MLB contest getting underway next April through July.

tblues,
Sounds like a plan.. Could do it every Saturday since there a bunch of games on Saturday.
I think SBR should have a Last Man standing for the NBA.

The two-team basketball parlay of the day (I think LT organized it last season) was a nice idea. Wouldn't mind seeing that or something similar this season.

NBA contest from after All Star break to end of regular season; aka as the real season. One pick a day. About 60 days total. Each bet gets a 1 to 5 unit rating, and each player gets only twelve shots for each rating. A losing play is subtracted from total as in BTP.

Perhaps a suicide league for the NFL next year in conjunction with the BTP contest would be interesting. Points rewarded for score differences and post counts separating ties.

fantasy league would be a great addition on this site, being able to play with all of our familiar posters. What about surviver pools for all sports also. . . have prizes for the winners just the like prick contest.

I'm not sure if there would be enough demand for fantasy. I know a lot of us aren't really into that. I personally favor the BTP style of contests, not that I ever win anything that way, but I think its a better concept than fantasy contests.
