    RIP, poster Bsims
    RIP, poster Bsims

I got to know Bsims off the forum a little bit. He had been very open about being in poor health. Bsims had been battling health issues for a few years.

I tried to meet up with Bsims to take in a game. But his health precluded him from doing so.

At least twice in the past, I noticed he wasn't posting and I got worried. I again noticed he hadn't posted in several weeks. This time, I got the confirmation with the bad news.

    What I learned from Bsims:
    1) Do what you love.

    2) Enjoy every day.

    3) Don’t take it for granted, because it’s (surely) going to be gone soon enough.

Rest in Peace, pal. Was nice knowing you.

    Just wow. I'm GIFless.

He and I saw eye to eye on a number of things.

    Thanks for the update Chucky.

Cmon, man. Give me some credit.

I saw the obituary. It's him. I know his name, I know where he lived.

His bio lined up exactly. Did I perform the autopsy on him? No, I didn't.

I was a little concerned too when I saw 99.9 though. I doubt there was an autopsy but I’m sorry to hear about your friend. Always tough to see one go. May he Rest In Peace

Great poster. He tried various gambling angles.

He shared with me his proud moment when he accumulated enough gambling profits to spend it on a car. So, that's pretty cool.

One of his final posts said he needed open heart surgery. I dont know anything of the man but in general open heart surgery is safe with an overall mortality rate of slightly less than 1%. Sounds like he was probably sick and knew the surgery was riskier than average.

Gamblers don't exercise or eat healthy typically speaking..

You make that money and bet accordingly, work the angles, same with successful smart business men but in the end you can't take all that money you made with you when you are on your death bed hooked up to machines and pumped up with pain killing drugs..

Can ask your loved ones in your will to bury the cash in your casket with you 6 feet under. What good is that though? Grave robbers will get you in the end even after death.

Financial security is good and makes you feel secure in life until your heart stops beating. Most think they won't die soon and don't even make a will. That's me. I'm starting to understand mortality now!!

Money isn't everything in LIFE when you get older is what I'm getting at in this post. You can give it to your young kids and you will only be enabling them. They will spit on grave if you don't though and give it away to charity..

I'm done with my drunken post death rant.
