Is there a risk to getting physical cash at banks or ATMs?

Cash is hated, yes governments eventually want to track you by making everything digital ... but my question is that if you want to get your own cold hard cash out of your bank account, are you monitored more by taking out several thousand at a time (where they ID you etc) or just going to get somewhat smaller amounts at ATMs, but more trips

It's pathetic how some banks like B of A only have 1k withdrawals per day - what a joke

It's a new version of anti-freedom and similar to the CTR not changing since the 1970s so the government can spy even more on you, or retrospectively look into you

in these times the risk probably has more to do with whether someone or a team of people has been scoping out the ATM to rob you shortly thereafter

    It's all about perspective.
Reassuring to see Kraken maintains equilibrium and keeps his
    priorities in order.
Keep your withdrawals under 10k per pop and more importantly
keep the blisters off of your tongue.

Talking about ATM withdrawals being limited to $1K a day. Prevents somebody who steals your banking card and has your PIN # from completely wiping out your account.

That's for ATM machine only, which is my guess. They have to refill the machines manually maybe.. How many people taking out more than $1000 per day all $100's could the machine survive.

Have an inside machine like Chase does with at least 2k withdrawals rather than waiting in line and filling out forms, showing ID, all that BS jazz. It's 2020, they act like this is 1970 still, I don't buy those "security" references. I have friends with other banks like the Bank of Montreal, not exactly small, that have like $300 ATM limits. Unreal.

This is what I'm getting at. With that news today of crypto stablecoins allowed now also, the steps are being taken to wipe out local banks and just leave the Fed. Get ready for your digital currency and tracking state.

This is the plan, and it's not a conspiracy theory (unless you think the Fed is conspiring which they sort of do), there are many economists that know banking very well that have said as much.

My worry is that probably sooner rather than later, I'll be forced to buy an SUV or whatever those tall cars or named to drive even half way safely. It's damn close now!
