The NFL Predictions '08 went 9-3 both ATS and O/U Sunday. It is predicting a Pick and total of 38 for MNF. It looks like the line is going to be Wash -2 and 37. So, I would have to go Pitts +2 Over 37.

I am hoping Washington wins outright though, so McCain will win Presidency tomorrow.

accuscore counts about as much as my dog. remember, just bc wash is 41% according to them , doesnt mean they think wash loses tonite. it means you would need to beat 10 straight matchups on pitt to win 59%.

Yeah last night when they said that on espn the two other announcers laughed at the 3rd announcer for saying that. I forget who they were though.

              Portis MVP. Campbell not MVP.

We will see how long he goes with 0 picks. A little lucky.

but the skins can still win, if the line moves down to -1.5 thats nice.

yeah I don't put alot of stock into it...but at the same time.. It is rare that i've seen the the accuscore simulation go this drastically against the vegas line..

usually the fav, is the favored team on accuscore...

don't see alot of reasons to like the skins tonight.... i see alot of reasons to like the steelers.... matchup wise, I think the steelers win every battle.... the steelers are stronger where the skins are strong and the skins are weaker where the steelers are weak.

the special teams is the only factor i'm not sure of.. punter was gimpy last week..and the long snapper is a guy that used to be working in fedex or somthing last week..... all it takes is 1 or 2 bad snaps... and there goes the game.

This game goes way deeper then who is a better team period over the last x number of games... we see every week that all that goes out the window and you can have 3 teams with a combined 1-20-somthing record with a good shot to win in the 4th quarter all at the same time, like yesterday.

TODAY... the Steelers match up the best, and put the better/healthier team on the field

Ryan Clark is a big injury concern for the Steelers, he plays a solid cover game that allows Polamalu to play his game changing style. Means more of Ty Carter and Anthony Smith, and they like to play an aggressive style like Polamalu. Might mean more of a chance of big passing plays down the field.

i'm a steelers fan too, but i have to admit that the NFC East has our number this year.

Pitt will end up playing all 4 NFC East teams this year, 2 on the road, and 2 at home. So far Pitt has lost @ Philly and at home against NYG. tonight it's @ Wash, and 2 weeks they get Dallas at home. Philly and NYG games were tough for Pitt. Both teams blizted and got to Big Ben easily, having over 10 sacks in those 2 games.

Granted as far as Defense is concerned, Wash is probably the weaker of the 4, IMO. With Wash secondary being slowed tonight, and Moss a possible game-time decision due to hamstring problems. And with hamstring problems you don't want to rush it and tweak it again, i wouldn't be surprised if Zorn keeps Moss out of this game, giving him an extra week to mend the hamstring and come out of the bye week at home against Dallas. Win that game and Wash is at the controls of a wildcard and maybe NFC East Division, wild card is almost assured.

I don't see any reason for Wash to be "up" for this game, other than it being Monday night against one of the better Monday night teams in NFL history. They're banged up, playing a physical smash-mouth team, the last thing they need is re-injured players getting hurt, and new injuries heading into the bye week. with so many important games coming out of the bye week.

i'm leaning towards Pitt and over small play....

If Santana Moss is out then that just means the rook Devin Thomas has to step up. I really like the matchup for Mr. Cooley too if Polamalu is out.

I think the matchup is more of cooley vs the linebackers anyways...

I DO think both team's tight ends are big factors today

Steelers are gonna bring it on Def, watch out for Lammar woodley and James Harrison, they are going to wreak havoc on the skins

                                                    entertaining game, with some suprises...

went how I thought it would in some ways... but not in others...

didn't see big ben coming out that bad...or the injury for sure...

didn't think there would be that many sacks for either side..

but a good solid defensive game to watch... both teams will be heard from again this season...
