Pistons @ Bobcats, history repeating itself?

I remember the year after Flip Saunders left the T-Wolves, the first time he returned to Minnesota as the Pistons coach, the Pistons just murdered the T-Wolves. The Pistons players were really into that game, they were off bench celebrating during garbage time, something you never see in an early regular season game. They really brought their A game.

I'm thinking, with basically all the same players still in Detroit, will they really bear down and try and kill Larry Brown and the Bobcats?

The spread is even comparable. The Pistons were -5.5 @ Minnesotta and they're -6 @ Charlotte.

Larry Brown left the Pistons in '05. If the idea behind the play is that Flip was fresh in their minds and they wanted to beat him, the same cannot be said for Brown.

Even without Chauncey the Pistons are better than the Bobcats but for one game the Bobacts might be able to pull off a small upset at home.
