Gates and Mathews both listed as questionable. I know Tenn looked bad last week, but NE has revamped their D and Brady is better than Rivers. Would take the points, but do not feel strongly about the game.

I have the Chargers -1 and -.5 on two of my teasers. Not sure about the 6.5 points though - people generally still down on the Chargers

I am not a Norv fan but I am still a minor Charger fan so maybe I am biased

Gates injured but it's 'just' ribs; should play but we don't know severity
Jammer plays with broken hand, CB Wright is out
Chargers have the undrafted rookie at LT and that Tenn speed rusher
Mathews could get some carries as he has supposedly healed well from the collarbone injury but Chargers hinting no; could be a ruse
Team played mistake-free against the Raiders and Rivers threw no interceptable balls
One more week of practice between Rivers and Meachem/Royal
Charger's D actually looked good for a change last week and was doing swarm tackling
Jake Locker still inexperienced (but I am a fan of his) though he did throw with confidence Vs. the Pats
Chris Johnson doesn't look the same; some say it's the line but he doesn't look quick to me
Tenn a bit thin at receiver; Britt could be rusty and get limited playing time

Jake Locker did complete more than 70% of his passes. This week Tennessee WR Kenny Britt is back from his one game suspension. That's great for Locker as he'll be able to just toss the ball anywhere near Britt and he’ll pull it down.

The Chargers are coming off an unimpressive win over Oakland and will be operating off a short week. Britt is a big addition for Norv and his defense to worry about off the short week.

I got the titans at +7.5.
