Every year, dozens of big games are won or lost on the legs of guys who look like they're only at the game for the free bud light. With each passing year it seems more ridiculous that bigtime coaches refuse to develop kicking talent or at least avoid using the worthless one on the roster.

Normally anything > 35 yards is risky and you might as well go on 4th. 40 yards is a monumental distance in college, 95% lock in NFL. Too many whiffs to keep track. Guaranteed every game a reasonable kick whiff
