    Meeting A Local Bookie
So over the past few weeks I have become very interested in meeting a local bookie and don't know where to start. For a while now I have made all by bets through online sportsbooks and am thinking it would be nice to cut out that middle service and stick to local on a few bets if possible.

I live in a college town and am wondering where to start and meet a local bookie. Should I be going around to local sports bars and just ask everyone, or is there an easier way to do this? Thanks for the advice.

Go to a local sports bar during a slow time and ask the bartender.

Go to the local pizza shop, look for ones with 2 letters not lit up in the awning, and go in, cough twice, than ask for an "extra saucy pizza". You'll then meet Big Sal in the kitchen. lol

As long as you bet safely with them, its way better than dealing online, IMO.

        don't just ask "everyone"

gotta put feelers out... if you are in a big college town, do some research to find out where the right bars are to do that sorta thing..

        but I mean, I don't know anything...

Ask some of your friends...I am sure one of them is a closet Degen that can help you out.

                I like the bartender idea.

At my school where there was decent size frats there was an entrepreneuring kid who made book. Can always look there.

Don't have to worry about deposit/withdraw issues. Just my opinion. I like betting local 10 times better

Usually any gambling establishment is better than a sports bar like racetracks or casinos
