Hockey is as close to being in a gladiator arena as you will get. They carry weapons and fight often.

Nothing comes close to being as exciting. Football (soccer) is like watching paint dry. Football (NFL) is fun to watch, but whats with the stupid phucking name? Only a couple of players on the team ever touch the football with their feet. If anything it should be handball, or yardball. Football, phucking stupid name.

Basketball, once again fun to watch...in the LAST TWO MINUTES! Doesn't matter what happens prior to that, yeah great game.

let jj alone...he loves hockey. what he doesnt like is a lockout which causes the (hockey) forum to slow up a bit, less traffic=less $ for jj.

having so many foreigners in the league adds to the depth and excitement of the game. only other sports that rival it for excitement are nfl and college football. basketball had its moment but faded away in the late 90's but then the players started acting like they own the team.

Average salary for NFL player is much lower than average NHL. Also, as a percentage of net revenue the players get more in the NHL than any other major league. Greedy fukks.

The MLB is a joke. Benches clear everytime someone yaps their mouth, but the fake tough guys don't throws fists. Then what's the point of even getting involved in the altercation? Just to show how tough you are by "yapping"?

your NBA is full of floppers and fake tough guys that just run their mouth. Not to mention they lie on the ground in pain anytime someone gives them a love tap. People in hockey get in fist fights and get bodychecked and just get up and rejoin the play.

At least in hockey, players put their money where their mouth is. I'd like to see one of your MLB or NBA player pussies legitimately get in a fight fight until one player gets knocked to the ice every time they have a dispute.
