    Nicky.........Are Teasers Beatable??
I see so many guys playing them, they always look like locke before the game and that is what lures them.

jjcole, i will answer any question you need answered about gambling and numbers you have.. and i will make sure my answer is always right on..

however, in this case, i have NO IDEA.. i have gambled all my life since i was able to walk the 1st time, till today, but for some reason, i have never bet teasers or gotten into them, i dont know why.. so I have never studied the #'s of them..

you're better off in this case asking Donny Juan.. or durito or Justin... this is not my forte here.

they know this stuff better.. but i know for a fact they could be profitable.. depends on how much they charge. some charge 10%, some charge 40%.. some have ties you lose, some have ties you win.. i also know that you are better off taking a -6.5 and buying 6 pts to make it -.5 than buying 7 pts and making it +.5 and so on.. there are so many different rules to know before doing them.. rules differ everywhere.. you must ask these 3 guys or others who know better than me..

i am too lazy to bet them.. i prefer betting single games.. i hate betting 3 or more games at a time..

Amazing that someone who's been around as long as jj uses the term lock. Yes, teasers can be profitable. However, there are -EV teasers just as there are -EV straight wagers.

i also know that besides bringing -7.5 to -0.5 is good... there are others to know like... you bring -9.5 to -2.5.. but never bring down a -9 to -3 if ties you lose..

if you bring -4 to +3, this is bad too.. if ties you lose..

          if 7 pt teasers..

dont bring -10 to -3, OR +3 to +10..like i said, i have not studied them, but it's common sense to bring down the lines to -2.5 or +3.5, or -0.5 (and not pick em)

and not smart to bring down lines to +2.5, or -3.5, etc...

and i dont even know for certain if this will make you money in the long haul.. if it was so easy, why do books carry it.. i doubt books want to give free money away..

you have to ask the boys i mentioned..
