Grande and Cascade attempted to open up walk in sportsbooks in San Jose a few years ago, but the government eventually shut them down. I think Legends tried as well. And now that i think about it, Del Mar had one inside the Hotel Del Rey.Comment -

Yep in Costa Rica its a tax thing, to book locally they would need to file that, so they rather just forgo that small market and not have to report on that action. Want to bet, use a local.
Now in Nicaragua, where I was, there's bookmakers left and right and the government don't give a sh!t, all cash business all the time, Dollars prefered.Comment
