CrazyL, I Have An Important Question About Handicapping Contest Here
CrazyL, not to be a little b*tch about it, but is it fair that my opponent took both sides of a CFB game to assure that he would break even for those games...(see, Louisville -12.5, and Syracuse +12.5) he should get 2 losses for that move...i would assume to lose both if i tried to pull that now because i have him in a corner.

Well, I havent looked over the rules...But I would say taking both sides of a game in the contest is unfair. I would say the play is graded as 1 loss, and the player(your oppenent) gets another play.

If it is true he should get 2 losses. However, if CrazyL didn't write it in the rules it is perfectly legal. I have seen weirdest things happen on last contest so it wouldn't surprise me if someone pulled a trick like this knowing it wasn't covered in the rules.

no he shouldn't get another play..its common sense. Now that i am going to go 6-2 at worst i'm not really worried 7-1 t best if the browns pull out a win

What he did was not illegal but it was unethical. It's not covered in the rules:

Round 1 will run from Friday to Monday.
You must make a minimum of 8 plays, max 10. Each pick under 8 will be a one unit penalty.
Lines will be posted overnight and the following morning up to 11AM EST. No further additions will be made.
You may not pick opposite side of your opponent on a game, so if someone has Jets -3, you can't bet the other side, but you can bet the total on that game.
All plays must be used from the Daily Lines thread as you know. All other rules and regulations are covered in the sign up thread.
Football (NFL/NCAAF), Basketball (NBA/NCAAB) sides/totals only as listed in Daily Lines thread.
Plays are to win one unit.

Not really. Diogee handled the situation correctly. If we need to explicitly state a contest player can't minimize his risk to just losing juice by picking the exact same sides to his own games, we will going forward.
