If you look at these three sites regarding opening lines and public % it is totally screwed. The Spread supposedly uses SportsOptions, but I am using the Pro version of SO and the opening lines on The Spread are different from SO. Also, the opening lines on VegasInsider are different from SO. Anybody know which is more accurate SO or VegasInsider when it comes to opening lines and public %?

If you think about it, what would a book benefit from publishing its public percentages? It would do much more harm than any good to them, so what makes you think you can trust those numbers anywhere?Comment -
They pluck them out of thin air. Pretty easy to see who and how hard the public by looking in players talk. Befriend a few squares and you'll know every weekend.Comment
