Notre Dame is moving to the Atlantic Coast Conference in every sport except football, where the Fighting Irish will maintain their status as an independent.
i know that nd is no power house in the big east but what does this mean for the big east? They also lost west virginia, syracuse and pitt to the acc as well.

yeah they will probably play Duke, Wake Forest, Boston College, Virginia, and North Carolina... all the pussy schools from the ACC
doubt they will put Clemson and Florida State on the schedule.
If they are not joining for Football how is this even news???? the only 2 college sports people care about are football and basketball

Notre Dame always has a pretty tough schedule, and likes it that way. The tougher the schedule the more money they bring in.
If the only two college sports people care about are football and basketball then this is news because their basketball team is joining the acc as well.
please explain.

This move made sense since most of the Big East had moved to the ACC anyway. What is to become of UConn, do they get left behind by both the ACC and Calhoun? Or do they make 16?
