Notre Dame always has a pretty tough schedule, and likes it that way. The tougher the schedule the more money they bring in.

This move made sense since most of the Big East had moved to the ACC anyway. What is to become of UConn, do they get left behind by both the ACC and Calhoun? Or do they make 16?
