They put out opening numbers that are easy to beat.

Judas Goat got a chuckle from me. I firmly believe that if not for SBR or OSGA that the rampant confiscations would have gone on unchecked.

Who knows what the intention of this article is from one of BOL's rivals (bovada/Bodog)...but as usual it is an interesting read at least

Love BetOnline or not, that story is made up by someone who searched through old forum posts. The VO Group, including Vwager.com, Millennium and MVP was in the B range at SBR. SBR didn't have them as an advertiser. VO didn't have the best product but were in good standing with players in the years before they sold the operation to BetOnSports. Lots of players were smart and left after they were moved to BOS. SBR can verify BetOnline had the same primary ownership in 2007 when it bought the Betonline.com domain as it does now. SBR has pushed BOL to resolve complaints faster but if they or anyone else cheated a player out of money they wouldn't be up top even if they fixed it.

Dalton Wagner’s dirty tactics haven’t gone undetected by Bookmakers Review, the Pierluigi Buccioli-run site with a reputation amongst sports bettors as the most honest sportsbook rating site to date. BMR currently rates BetOnline as just a 2.5 (Weak) — the rating BMR assigns to bookmakers who have more blemishes than strengths and/or have proved themselves to be vulnerable to problems and adverse business conditions.

It is funny that BOL live chat experience has always been kind of "unique" which is very different to other books I use. The first thing crossed my mind is that it must be owned by a NY family.
