I don't even know what the spread is. My guess is they are 2- 4 point favorites. They will win by 2 touchdowns. They were absolutely unprepared for last week's game and will play like cornerded animals this week. The only question is how competent the interim coaches are, but I think this week will be golden for them. They are pissed.

I was not sold on Newton doing well in the NFL, but last year Car was 5th rated in offfense after finishing dead last with basically same cast of characters the year before. Sure he throws some bad INT'S, but he is a solid QB. The loss of the NO coach and getting torched by RG3 at home does not bode well for NO coming into this game. Look for a high scoring game, taking those points. Line shoud be PK imo.

I only researched 2 years back, and the Panthers lost the last two home openers to Tampa Bay 20-7 in 2010, and Packers 30-23 2011. Did you see the resilience with the Saints never giving up. Washing is a much improved team. The Saints are disappointed with that last lost, and will bounce back. The Saints defense isn't that bad... Newton averages what 2 interceptions or something like that. The Saints will win.

The Saints played poorly and you have to believe that coaching played a part as well. 4th down, Redskins are punting...12 men on the field, 1st down Redskins and they continue the drive and score a TD to start the 2nd half. Saints get a quick stop and score to start the 2nd half and it is a whole different ball game. That Garcon play should have been a 15-20 yd. gain max, safety no where to be found. Saints got outplayed by a college style offense and outcoached. This team is a mess and will not get my $ for the rest of the season. Great fade opportunities for their home games though.
