I'm watching this thing. I thought this was supposed to be a good movie.
He wins a fight, has a family. He breaks his hand, they're poor. He wins a fight, the pay electric bill, he wins another fight....bla bla

nothing interesting at all.

I remember it bombing at the box office.... then they brought it back, even offering a money back guarantee..... only to bomb again.

I think if anything a documentary would be much better,

Sensationalized true stories where everyone knows how the thing ends do not make for good fiction. Seabuscuit and Ray come to mind.

plus the acting sucks. Giamatti who I think is very good is unbelievable here....the emotional wife.
Its like they really try to make you care but they can't.
