Yea, elite QBs with poor defense will struggle in the playoffs.
Ravens, 49ers, Bears, Texans, Falcons and Cowboys are balance on offense and defense even though they do not have a Top 5 QB.
Patriots have improved on defense compared to the Saints and Packers.

You know what, fine.. I would rather take a QB who finishes 4th in Touchdowns and 3rd in fewest interceptions thrown by a starting QB then half of your "Top 5 QBs"

Not including the Ravens (as they play tonight) after week 1 I can say that the Pats and 49ers are the two teams to beat this year. There is not much bad you can say about the 49ers. Any team that can rush 3 and drop back 8 and still get sacks on Rodgers is a DAMN good team. The Pats obviously were a top 3 team heading into week 1 and I'm not saying that the Titans are good on offense but the Pats D looked much improved. Their linebackers are a top tier unit.
All i know is that I have tickets for the Pats 49ers in Gillete and I can not wait to go watch that game. Maybe the best game of the year.
