UCLA -17 at home v Houston
Ucla looked reborn vs Nebraska, but their defense has some lapses at times. Houston scored often vs La Tech but may as well have had decoys players on D. Should I take this at 17.5 or avoid?

Smells like a possible letdown situation.

      I took UCLA -16.5

While UCLA could have a letdown and not get up for this game after beating Nebraska, Houston has too many problems right now themselves. Houston's defense is terrible and will be the difference in this game

Not saying yes or no... but you should know that the Cougar offense can put up 40 to 50 points
on any given day,David Piland is a very good QB, he threw for close to 600 yds and 4 Touchdowns yesterday and completed 53 of 77 passes...yup thats 77 pass attempts.

Pesonally,i would not give the Cougars 17 points they are a scoring machine.

UCLA rolled up about 650 yards on Nebraska's D, imagine what they will do to Houston. Sure, UH is gonna score but they might need 40 points to cover this game.

Totally agree with the post above. Ucla is a solid team. Explosive off with a legit d. UH is not the team it was lasts yr. After the loss of Keenum and other def starters they are having some major problems. The only attributable factor in Ucla possibly not covering is letting up after a big Nebraska win. But these boys should go into this game with a lot of confidence after a big Nebraska win blowing out UH to help with
                  the polls. UCLA 59-UH 17

Hope there are a bunch of guys like you out there who think UCLA will win by 40+. Keep on raising that line, I like Houston as it is already at 17, I'll love them at 21.

Can anyone confirm if several Houston defensive coaches resigned? I heard a rumor that they did but can't confirm anything??

I know Nesbitt, the OC, resigned...
