Boards just too confusing in Vegas
Scores hard to find, time remaining, ect
Hard to concentrate

Plus so much easier to use SBR odds to lineshop in real time without getting swampass running all over the strip.

Its a decent environment to watch games but I just find it too cluttered as far as odds boards, game times, scores

It's good that Vegas is moving to mobile betting. Just a few more gaming companies need to make the move, and we will be all set.

Fishhead bitched out a clerk at the Plaza cause he was dealing Bengals -3 last week, Fish went to bet to win a dime and clerk asked for 1300.
Clerk's excuse was they don't have room to put the line with the number
You should have seen FH bitch out the clerk.. how can WH afford to pay some clowns 600 grand to follow Pinnacle but can't afford a bigger board, etc.
Coach sharp post, outside of NFL only small timers operate in Vegas. Waste of time.

Some books still have whiteboards, for example, Boulder Station.
It becomes habit to ask the writer for updated odds, before betting.

It is possible to bet online and at Vegas books when you're in Vegas.
FH should know better. He worked in books here - when there were still white boards.
If you know what you're doing, you either do one or both of the following:
1. Get mobile accounts at the books that offer them.
2. Hire a runner to do the grunt work.

I agree.
But you have to make sure of the odds, before you bet. Just the way it is.
It baffles me that Boulder hasn't upgrade to a digital board yet.

Stations (if they still have a white board) at least calls out their line changes if they haven't updated them yet...
Strat - you would never know a line changed if you weren't using a line service.

Well I have 3 Vegas books covered with Mobile accounts, which includes Stations.
I'm sure soon, all the Vegas books will be set up on Mobile.

I'm pretty sure Palace (their hub) is still using a white board too.

Betting Boards are not too small actually in many places
They try and put way too much stuff on them
Sportsbetting has grown in Vegas and they have no adapted enough
Guys at William Hill the old Leroys say the LED Boards are too expensive and they use $200 tv

Yeah. The Leroy's holes are low budget. Skyline got digital boards up now. WillHill is suppose to upgrade them, but they are just betting outlets, not somewhere you want to hang out at.
Mobile app is the best currently.

Better odds online
Easier to bet
More outs
No fukking around with runners or sweating your balls off walking through parking lots in August
Downside: payout issues, fees

Mathy,
You can still bet online from here. You cannot bet here from somewhere else though.

OK so you have access to Stations, we have access to SIA...
In practice I could have runners in Vegas too despite the law

Haha. Yeah. There isn't much to go there for. I got the boot from Stations' sportsbooks anyway.
I should get over to Boulder one of these days. Haven't had Metro Pizza in a while.

This guy would bitch about anything.
JJ could have Chloe Vevrier riding him, and baldy would complain that she's too heavy.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Varies randomly. Sometimes 0 hours (and $0), sometimes 10k sometimes well over 20k.
I imagine Stations operates randomly too
