all day today i kept eyeing utah ml -300 as a sure bet. i mean who wouldnt... utah returning 9 starters on offense and 7 on defense and hadnt lost to utah st in 12 straight games.
i had pretty much made up my mind to risk 1500 to win 500. but as i got closer to vegas i kept having flashbacks to all the -300 & up picks kerry and his fav ghost brahmakerry had posted in the past year. all losers... one more pitiful than the last.... none even remotely close to cashing. then it hit me that theres no such thing as a sure bet and heavy juice = heavy losses. so i laid off it and went with the yankees at a much more palatable -104.
so thanks to kerrys awful handicapping skills i went from being down -$1500 on the day to being up +$500.
to show my gratitude, kerry, i will stop picking on you and making fun of you for 8.5 hours. yes i am going to honor this ceasefire so enjoy it.
