Time to get a new hobby Shari =p
They are all bitches, darn right.
No kidding right? A few years back I used tennis as my entire income for a little over a year so I wouldn't have to touch my savings when I was on maternity leave. Gambling gods took pity on me and gave me an awesome year. Now I'm so burnt out from that and running contests on here I don't bet much any more. During Slams and some of the bigger tourneys but that's it. Can't use line movement in this sport so you have to study the ins and outs of all these psychos. So draining.

Aza is only +115 at Pinny, you still have a decent chance even if you don't deserve it for betting shit like -220 on bitch tennis.

Wont matter either way. I cashed her to win the first set for $150. So if she wins the match, I win again, if she loses, I still win on the o21 games.

Nah I've given up on this one. Even if she pulls off the win I'm so over watching these two idiots. Grunting, can't serve properly... does my head in. And people laugh at me for loving Serena but at least you know she's not a flake. These two are dipshits.

I've never really watched women's tennis much -- what's with the orgasmic sounds on each volley? I know it's been an on- and off-issue just from hearing about it, but it seems like these two are just doing it intentionally. I can't even watch it.

shari, here in the US we got a long discussion during the match (CBS) about how the WTA should do more about the shrieking and howling. I was happy to hear them talking about it.

Common...there are 30+ female billionaires in the world. The Aussie woman here is the richest worth 30 billion.
Sharapova will never get close to any of them. She will be the best paid female athlete for awhile but that's it.

They are doing it intentionally. They're trying to mask the sound of when the ball hits the racquet so their opponent can't anticipate properly. But it's become such a part of their M.O now that they just do it even when they don't need to ie when they hit a blazing winner that their opponent has no chance of returning. It's horrible.
Yiser, the Euro and Aussie announcers talk about it all the time. I'm hoping that 2013 is finally when they start to pull them in. And the Maria, Djoko, etc taking 3 mins to serve instead of the 25 seconds they're supposed to. Such blatant rule violations that they rarely get pulled up on. Hate that crap even if I have money on them.

I can't consider Sharapova American but she's not much of a Russian either. She was born in Russia but has lived almost her entire life in the US.
Here they wouldn't call her a yank that's for sure.

The world's female tennis players announced today they have passed the painful kidney stones they have been working on for much of the past decade. "Thank God that's over with," said Maria Sharapova. "I apologize for all of the loud shrieking and grunting over the years, but if you've ever had a kidney stone, you know how much they can hurt."
Serena Williams says now that her health problems are over, she hopes she can focus on tennis.
"I've had a huge stone, about the size of a pool ball, stuck smack dab in the middle of my urethra for about eight years," said Williams. "Hurt like hell. Every time I swung my racket, I'd get shooting pains through my whole body. But the other day I decided I couldn't take it anymore. I sat down on the toilet in the locker room and squeezed the thing out. After about three hours of grunting and shrieking in pain, and a few pints of lost blood, I was free of it. Best day of my life. Even better than winning a Grand Slam."
The female tennis players say they think their kidney stones were due to dehydration or possibly even from deposit buildups from drinking too many sports drinks. No matter the cause, they unanimously say they hope the stones don't return.
"For our own health and for the good of the game, I hope we stay kidney stone-free," said Victoria Azarenka. "I watched a tennis match recently and, while I felt bad for the pain the girls were in, it was completely unwatchable due to the screams. I hope ratings will go up now. I also hope I stop bleeding soon. I think I passed a big moon rock."

Yeah he's horrible too. I always think of Maria and Djoko first when I'm ranting about it but he's almost as bad. Such a joke and such a dirtbag intimidation move when they're playing less experienced people. On the plus side I've noticed that when Djoko bounces 9+ times or Maria stops mid serve and restarts they tend to hit it into the net. So I guess that's some consolation.

With these two who knows. Typically yeah but they get a 10 minute break because of the heat rule so that's going to cut into that a bit.
If Aza even wins this set that is. I don't trust these chicks until it's actually dusted.
