Cincy is bringing back most of their Defensive players back.
Pitt is getting back 6 suspended players, 2 are returning starters, one is a new starter.
Cincy Offense has 3 new OL, a new QB, and a new RB. This is never a good sign for an offense in their first game.
Pitt's offense only scored 17 against a FCS team (top 20 team though).
Pitt struggled on 3rd downs in their first game.

49 pts now and rising. I just don't get why people like the Over in this game.

Agreed, Cinci been looking at this game for a while. Focused on the win and should keep the gas on all game long imo.

New QB for Cinci but he has experience. Started 3 games last year when Collaros was out. Threw for 749 yds w/ a Comp% of 47.4%, 5 TDs and 4 INTs w/ a rating of 109.0.

New starting RB for Cinci but looks like they will be rotating different RBs vs sticking to just one.

Pitt getting back 4 suspended players. 2 didn't make the trip (3rd string freshman RB and Sophmore DB who is a converted QB turned receiver turned DB). Of the returning players, one, Jr DL played as a backup nose tackle last year w/ no stats worth mentioning... and the other a Sr DE, no stats worth mentioning in previous yrs. 1st year starting for both.

Pitt moved the ball decently vs Youngstown St but fumbled the ball twice in the opponents territory.

I don't pay much attn to rankings but Covers has Cinci moving down 5 spots in their wk2 power rankings to 49 and Pitt moving up 17 to 73 (go figure). Previous to their loss, Pitt was 90th and Cinci at 44th. Oddsshark has Cinci moving up 11 to 50th while Pitt moved down 51 to 108th. Previous to their loss, Pitt was ranked 57th and Cinci 61st.

Finally, a rivalry game with a trophy at stake. Final game of this rivaly since both teams are leaving the conference. Winner keeps the trophy that's been passed around since 2005.

Aaron Statsko has a good read on the game (if you are trolling the boards, you are familiar with it by now). I'm leaning Pitt and the over myself. I'm thinking this may be a closely fought game with a possibe field goal deciding the winner. 27-24 Cinci. Most likely stay away from the over and just play Pitt small.

Don't know who wins this game but let me say this and I may be wrong this is just what I believe. I think young players and players that think one game means a ton will be on Cinn. I think the rest of the players, people that have been around this game for decades take Pitt or a pass.
