Never will use a local again, not worth the hassle much rather usea 5 dimes or heritage or bookmaker all top ranked books who pay. No need to worry about funds

Depends on local. Solid local with pph is fantastic. Unfortunately about half are get rich quick wannabes that will stiff if they ever get popped.

This is so true!....thats why you gotta make sure they have a BIG BANKROLL...if you are using a local that works for your local Wing Stop, then there is a good chance you won't get paid!!!

Are locals really dangerous? Or is it just the risk of getting stiffed if you win big?

I use local - guy is legit - I wouldn't dream of messing with him - but he has more than enough outs to pay me when I roll him. Only once did he slow pay me and I hit a huge 7-team round robin parlay - so he took a week to make a few collections before giving me whole amount.
