Why so much hate on Freeman? Guy had a great rookie year and almost lead his team to a playoff spot. was bound to have the sophmore dropoff just like Cam will have this year. Freeman is still learning but he will definitely bounce back and have a decent year.

I have $100 buf + 3 1/2. But I don't like it. Would have bought it back, but its only $100 so I left it. Jets looking so bad this pre-season scares me. I think jets take it.

Only had 1 losing season in the past 10 years. Early season can be tricky. But by week 3 or 4 I will be in full form.

I have no prediction because of their defense. But c'mon. I watched these guys a lot because I like to see black qb's do well. Its no comparison. Cam is in another class. Throwing and running. Be hard to find too many people not giving the qb edge to carolina. Probably nobody.

Josh Freeman is raw. He had a poor completion percentage in college and I highly doubt he will ever be a consistent NFL player. He's got backup written all over him. People liked his potential his rookie year but that's all it is - potential. Last year is more indicative of his true worth and he was not a starting caliber QB last year.

Cam Newton has a lot more potential but I also felt he was very raw. People won't say that because his stats were good but it's true. I didn't watch a lot of him but watching him last year just frustrated me because of all of the errors I saw. The guy made plays but he made a lot of mistakes too and he could have been so much better. ESPN will focus on the stats but he was not a refined QB at all.

In 2-3 years Josh Freeman will be a backup QB somewhere and Cam will still be the Panthers starter. He's cocky but he also has big time football smarts. I don't see him packaging it all together this year or in 2 years but if he cuts back on the mistakes he could be really good.

Trace look at Newton's stats over the last 8 games of the past season. He had a great start to the year, but really was an average QB after that. Still good for a rookie, but the guy is still a bit overrated IMO
