The Giants have won the superbowl twice now in the last 5 years. Both of those years they had a very mediocre regular season and were somewhat lucky to even be in the playoffs both years.

This years team is the same Giants team. They think they can just "flip the switch" and turn it on whenever. Maybe they can, that's irrelevant. What is relevant is they don't decide to play their best until later in the season. And why would they, they've won 2 superbowls with this mentality.
