What is Roddick going to do for money after this? He has a hot wife that I'm sure cost him a lot to keep happy. Vaca's, gifts, houses, cars maintaining all of that is expensive.

his wrist has not been an issue all tourny. plus its left wrist anyway.

Roddick is retiring cause he cant hang with the big dogs like Del Potro. Roddick is lucky to even be in this match as he has played a bunch of bums. Del Po should handle him in 4 sets or less

There's a reason Del potro is a 4 to 1 favourite & there is a reason Andy is retiring.
                      Juan wins 3-0

Del Potro, while he should definitely be a firm favourite here, has been anything but convincing through this tournament.

I thought Roddick was going out in R2 to Tomic, but since announcing his retirement he seems to havefound some extra firepower that has been missing for the past 5 years.

Delpo SHOULD win, but A-Rod could very well snatch at set at least.

He is most definitely not a choker. But given that he is nowhere near top form, Roddick has a small sniff hre.

I'm on the handicap and the ML for a bit less. Not big bets though. Would be nice to see Andy win one more match but it's a pretty tough ask obviously. Just hoping this is a great match either way. Hopefully the crowd is fired up!

Ferrer beat Kevin Anderson in 3 sets the first round who is almost 7 fkn foot. it makes no difference with this height shit, you talk about Ferrer like he is some dog shit player. he is top 5 in the world for a reason.

Extremely poor comparison if you're referring to Ferrer. Ferrer is a beast, the most fit player on tour with a devastating return and defensive game. Look at what he's doing to Gasquet currently. You're nuts if you're comparing Roddick to Ferrer. Roddick is eons and I mean LIGHT YEARS behind Ferrer in groundstrokes, return, and defense dept. He makes up for his size twice fold with this superb fitness and groundstrokes. I backed Ferrer against Delpo in that Wimbledon match and I will back him again if Delpo played Ferrer.
Matter of fact, ANYONE that is not the top 4 ranked, I would take FERRER all day long against the rest of the #5 field and above.

You must not watch much tennis if you're calling Ferrer a midget with limited skills. Take your stuff out to the NBA or football forums.

yes but this same del po who is 6 feet 6 lost to somone who is 5 foot 5. that is un explainable . i mean basically its like lebron (delpo) vs tony parker (ferrer). i do not care how fast parker is or this that lebron better pg than parker period. better player period. why? he is 6 foot 8 and 250 1bs. he not getting punked by a midget. yet delpo got runn ragged and looked like dog shit vs ferrer earlier this year.
Wow, this makes no sense at all. Necessity for Basketball= Size/speed/strength/skill . Tennis= Speed/power/agility/edurance/skill.
The Reason why Ferrer can take any big man is becasue he gets them moving east/west allday long. He dosnt do anything special, he just makes you tired. Ferrer is probably in better shape than anyone on Tour. Delpo would look like swiss cheese after 4 rounds with ferrer. So the baskeball analogy is very irrelivant there.

throwing money down the drain JJ. think your best bet would to be watch the first set get a feel of the match and if Roddick is going to have a chance or not. than place a bet live. you dont want your money to be stuck in a lame duck bet, which it very well possibly could be.

Roddick has nothing here. Needed to hit that straight at Delpo just to stay in the first set. Roddick will end his career tonight and just try not to get embarrassed. I hit the live after Roddick had to assert himself in that first service game pretending like he still had a pair.

Delpo is a good guy to go out against, no way you can let that little bitch fagnini retire you.
