Is Bill's gambling hall a good place to stay in Vegas?
Do they take the $20 at check in for an upgrade?
Comfortable beds?
Noisy rooms?

I don't even know you can stay there. Looks like a giant parking garage above a beat up Casino and restaurant.

Not a good place if you can afford better but it is in a great location. About 6-7 years back while it was still Barbary Coast I lost a good chunk of cash playing craps and was comped one of their "nicest" suites for the weekend even though I had a room at the Venetian. The inside of my suite looked like it was still 1982 and the hotel had very few amenities. The only thing the hotel has going for it is Drai's downstairs which is the best after hours club in Vegas.

Great location in middle of strip, easy access to your room the hotel is right on strip not set back. the casino is small the rooms are older and run down a bit but are clean. It is owned by Harrahs. No pool on site.

When it was a coast casino it was great. Gaughn knows how to take care of people. Boyd bought it and traded it to Harrahs for 24 acres where the Westward Ho used to be.Harrahs owns it now and everything they and Boyd touch turns to shit.

I agree. Loved it when it was " the Barb". Was a great place to play blackjack and drink cheap, ice cold drafts. Used to go there to kill 6-7 hours during the day. Would always be a good time.

It has clean, basic accommodations in a perfect location. Friends who have stayed there had no complaints. It's really quick and easy to get from your room to the Strip as it is only a couple of floors and not located a mile from the Strip.

Stopped in to take a leak at 1:30 in the morning on way back to my hotel, got offered coke by a 50 year old jacked black dude that looked like a witch doctor.

I visited a friend there in 2008. They recently remodeled the rooms then and it was the Barbary Coast. The rooms were nice. The restaurant was good.
But like it was mentioned before, it's not a good place to gamble since Boyd took over.
