    Las Palmas payout
I realize that several posters play or are considering playing at Las Palmas so in the interest of giving them info on LP payouts here's my experience with them.

I signed up an account and made a deposit on 8/29 mainly due to the requirement to play in the BTP contest

I was informed that you could get 1 free moneygram payout every month for free up to 1500, ok sounds good

On around 9/7 I had reached the 1500 mark and called to request a payout and was informed that you had to wait 21 days before being able to request a payout from your first deposit, ok not great but ok

On 9/20 I called to request the 1500 again and was told that b/c I was a new player I had to wait 30 days due to "new player restriction", ok well wtf they told me it was 21 days now it's become 30 but anyway I'll wait til the 29th

On 9/29 I request the 1500 again and this time am asked to scan in the card and ID which I do and then am informed that I can only request payout via bank check, wtf are you kidding me more bullshit, but for some unknown reason they claim that now the 1500 moneygram will cost me some huge charge and the bank check will be free so I say alright just send the check, they inform me it will take up to 21 business days

On 10/28 I call them and inform them I have not received the check payout, could you please look into whether or not it's been processed and they inform me that it hasn't been processed but that now they will offer me the 1500 via moneygram for free and to call back tomorrow for the moneygram info

On 10/29 I call back and finally get the moneygram #s and today 10/30 went and picked up the payouts (1500 divided into 2 mgs, 1 for 350 the other for 1150)

I am not trying to knock Las Palmas or compliment them in this post I am only trying to inform other new customers of my experience and they can make their decision for themselves, on the minus side they gave me lots of bullshit but on the plus side they did pay via ** for free. They are clearly not an A book but since they do pay (eventually) it appears they could be a good out

Quite a bit of messiness and farting around in that story. Sounds like betLP needs to get their house more in order.

In my experience this may be mainly a problem for Americans. My transactions have been handled in a no-nonsense manner by betLP for years. That used to be Neteller and has been Moneybookers the last couple years or so.

Then again, not just Americans use ** and cheques. And I presume this "new player restriction" would not just apply to Americans.

Bottom line: rather poor showing by betLP.

What would you say is the best thing they have to offer? i.e. selection, lines, bonuses etc.

I would say it's probably their bonuses, I deposited 500 and received a 125 freeplay PLUS got an extra 10% bonus from SBR, so had 550 plus 125 freeplay right off the bat which gets you started in the right direction, they also offer reload bonuses of 20% freeplay

Their lines are nothing special, no correlated parlays, nothing like that, their eHorsex sister site (which you can transfer back and forth between your LP account) looks interesting but I never have actually tried it out. Also another frustrating thing is that after I got on a winning run I had tons of trouble making parlay bets, got tons of error messages and had to phone in any parlay bets after awhile, very strange.

Their customer service is very bullshitty, they are nice, but just full of bullshit and not getting a straight answer on payouts is very frustrating

Selection is decent, I would put this site on par with a BetJam in terms of selection, nothing to brag about but all the basic lines and a few unique lines/props

Also if you play in their casino, AND LET ME FIRST SAY PLAYING IN ONLINE CASINOS IS BURNING MONEY, but since clearly some ppl will not heed my warning or else the sportsbooks wouldn't even have casinos, please only play on FRIDAY, this will really get you fired up when you lose b/c they offer 50% Cash Back on Friday but 0% on any other day , thus you'd have to be really smoking some good crack (if you know about this Friday only CB bonus) to play on any other day given that you'd lose twice as much on any other day

I'm going through similar BS with Las Palmas right now. Very glad you finally got paid, but they are not close to a B- Book (current rating). I hope SBR refrains from letting them sponsor future contests.
