You could make anyone in professional or college sports disappear. No repercussions to you - all you do is name a name and that person has a bullet through their head 24 hours later.

Who is it and why?

For me, it's NHL commissioner Gary Bettman. He's 100% for the owners and doesn't care about the players. Of course, a commissioner that is 50/50 is the best but that will never happen in any pro sport.

It's unfortunate that the NHL will most likely go into another lockout.

I agree with Mike but I also wish the question was worded differently. Say for instance... "If you had to pick one person in sports to be abducted by a UFO and they never came back who would it be?" Or another version could be "There's a runaway trolley that is definitely going to run over 5 random people involved Sports and kill them. You can decide to flip a switch and have the trolley kill just one person in Sports instead of 5. If you choose for the trolley to kill just one person instead of 5 and you get to pick the person... who would it be?(must be a person in sports)" I would probably pick Floyd Mayweather myself.
