I thought it was a pretty clear fumble. No control when ball was recovered. Freeze frame with hand in front of the ball over the goal line makes for better television though.

Wasn't "clear" either way, IMO. The tip of the ball only has to touch the very edge of the white, which it likely did. Not to mention, I'm not sure he didn't get it over the line on the initial surge(though you couldn't see the ball so understand the no call).
