I went ahead and got on the under before it keeps dropping. Bronco Mendenhall was Rocky Long's defensive ccordinator for 5 years so these teams will be prepared for each other. BYU has had one of the country's best defenses all year anyway.

It was BYU as I kinda hinted about their defense but I just took the under as I thought that was the best play.

even if Ball st QB Wenning plays, he's coming off a broken ankle & should be quite rusty and not as effective
only 1 unit due to motivation for CFL coming off the CUSA championship loss

Peterson is definitely one of the best coaches when it comes to preparing his teams but I also think Wash's DC Justin Wilcox is one of the great young minds in defensive football. With the extra time it is going to really help the Huskies here. I was hoping this game would go the other way so I could get a 6 but 4 1/2 is good. I'm taking the points and lean under but I think that total is a little low for me to fire right now on it. I might wait and see what happens in the first half and fire on a 2nd half under.

Statistic wise this game should be Detroit -3. Atlanta is the worst 12-2 team that you'll ever see. Detroit is a much better team than their record. This game is all about perception. The schedule that these two teams have played overall is very different. Det has played alot of playoff teams , Atl not so much. Teams off big embarrassing loses tend to play well the next week. Arizona was an example last week. This is a situation where there is a team coming off a 20+ point loss vs a team coming off a 20+ point win. If you had taken the dog in that situation then you would win close to 60% of the time the past 10+ years. Also, teams that have lost by 25 or more & are home dogs the next week, come back & cover near 60% of the time. This is one last time for Det to show what they have in the national spotlight. I look for a great effort here. I actually think they win straight up but I'll take those points.

Usually stop in to see what your views are on games, especially college, since there are so many games to handicap. You helped me grow my bank roll at the beginning if the year. I hope I am wrong but I don't see this day going good for you. Anyway, my question is, why are you paying 20% vig on the Steelers bet, when you are giving points? At -3 they should be -$105 or -$110 at most. No way I am dropping -$120. Guess I am just wondering if you take that into account when you bet. I know that we all start the day thinking we are going to win all of our games.....or at least I do!
