Good call jj...you're coming around guy. I remember when Tiger and vijay finished 1-2 in this tourney a few years ago and they each shot like 62 or 63 during the tourney. I think there has been a 61 on this course.

People dumping on tiger about his final rounds don't understand golf too much. Guy is competitive every single week he starts. I don't know that there's another player who comes close to being in the hunt as much as tiger. $10 mil about to be headed his way.

So even if par was set at 68 he still shot 4 under. Just average.

Drinker the only thing Tiger has been doing bad is really playing bad day 3 and 4
The old Tiger never had so many bad holes, missed short puts and bad shots

Whats amazing is he is always there now

If he puts it all together he will dominate again

jj the difference now is strictly his putting. His greens and driving stats are as good as they've ever been.

I saw him say something that I was shocked to see. He said he used to be a great putter and now he's just a streaky putter. His putting on Saturday last week was embarrassing....though the greens were terrible.

I hope he can at least be a very good putter again

would love to see him win this week

Bronxer pal you're always one of the sharpest but you're off on this one

How many guys on PGA tour have closed out three tourneys this year?

Hint: he's referred to a few times in this thread

Pressure to do it in a major is ridiculous on him at this point. This is a different story.

                        drinker its just my opinion

                        avid golf fan

                        watch every tournament (weekend rounds)

                        he doesn't have it anymore

week in week out 25 guys better then him

his game is gone. he will win the occasional tournament here or there but I don't think there are any more major victories ahead

tiger doesn't play to win tourneys

                        he plays to win majors.

Bottom line is you can't pick one guy who is gonna have a better chance at winning than tiger. Better odds, sure. But not a better chance to win. Like I said he's the only guy with three wins this year.

                                agree with drinker

he is no longer dominant but neither is anyone else

16 majors in a row with 16 different winners proves my point

so much money in it (because of tiger) so there is much better competition

half these top 20 golfers wouldn't even be playing golf for a living if tiger didn't cause purses to go way up

Ill say this. Rory deserves the credit that he is probably the only guy who is more dangerous than tiger to win a random tournament. He's more likely to miss a cut too but higher upside because he plays to win all the time....and he's a better putter at this point.
