his even worse than david stern if their is another lockout NHL is done for. The only people that will still watch once it comes back is the loyalest fans and these days theirs not much of those left. The general public will completely forget about it and people will not even realize that its hockey season. Unless they wanna lose a ton of revenue and a large part of their fan base I suggest they work out a deal. I wanna be there for opening day for the Devils.

really hard to make that claim. As a Canadian I would definitely agree with you but most wouldn't.

Being totally objective though, I think I can make a serious case that the Stanley Cup tournament is the toughest championship to win of any sport.

If there's an NHL lockout it will give further reason for the best European/Russian players to stay at home and play. KHL salaries are nothing to be laughed at and they want Russian talent to stay in Russia.

It's sad how the Phoenix 2012-13 season tickets sold out almost immediately when they were released. People get excited when their team does well. If there is a lockout the fans will simply forget about the team and any gains in popularity will be lost.

The owners/gms signing players to 10 year contracts are the idiots. They are the ones to blame. You can't blame the players for taking these guaranteed deals.

Stern gave him his first sports business job with the NBA.
They are both Jewish lawyers, who had absolutely no background with

Not all the fault of greedy owners. Not many people watch hockey on TV anymore. League doesn't make as much money as you thought. That's why the players dont make as much. Nobody watches hockey anymore. It's a damn shame.
