    WOW, quite the gamble in my opinion. Maybe by the 5th or 6th year this will pay off some,. This kid has tons of growing up to do...not sure what they are thinking here...good luck with that, Cubbies.

      Great move Theo knows what he's doing don't question him

      Theo can also trade him whenever he wants if it comes to that which it won't

      He can hit and will only get better and stronger ... now with a 7yr deal locked in his motivation isn't the money its winning and becoming an elite SS

        I know it's older news, but still amazes me, I thought I would revisit the subject, just think it's a gamble, never believe "it's not about the money", thanks for posting!
