Another grand morning here! Although we are expecting rain all this weekend from the way it sounds

Today starts the 43 day stretch where we have something kid related going on every, single day either after school or on the weekend during the day. Between soccer (2 teams), travel soccer, baseball, piano lessons, band, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, 6th grade basketball, cheerleading, family events, and open houses etc this is our busy time of year. I can't imagine how people with more kids than us manage to fit it all in.

Don't get me wrong, I am glad the kids are active but sometimes I must admit I pray for rain, just to have a night off! Of course though it rains when we have events that are inside

So, since it's the last day of my official workweek, what plays do you guys have not only for today, but also the weekend?

Blondie do you guys have a mini-van or SUV? I know you gotta have something big for all those kids and their equipment.

my wife and I are trying to sell our used mini-van

all our adopted childrens have gone off to college in the last 5 years.

we got an empty nest for now. and don't need 3 vehicles at all.

Every week flies by around here archie! In some ways I love it, hard to find a job you enjoy enough that the week goes so fast.

Mini van. Last year, a friend of ours wrecked our van and I had a rented yukon for about a month. While I enjoyed it immensely (less than 50 miles when I got it :-p) it was just too big when it came to trying to park in normal spaces etc.

Fortunately we replaced our old one with a town and country so we have plenty of room int he back, well most of the time and worst case scenario they are still young enough to cram three in the back and take out one of the middle seats.

I do understand the not needing three vehicles, not too long ago we got rid of my Mustang convertible (moment of silence please)

It was time to part with it mostly because I never had time to even enjoy it (sniff, sniff)

Mix that in with the fact that I have short legs and my husband does not. The automatic seat died set where I drive at, so he looked like he was getting in and out of a clown car when he would drive it
