With that being said, -270 should be good, but at that price I'd tease USC down to -.5 and throw in a team like BYU down to -6.5 or something for a better payout.

I don' know, but for some reason I'm having a very hard time believing that Akron isn't dramatically improved from last year now that Terry Bowden is coach. Combine that with the fact that I watched UCF lose to UAB last year and that game scares me. If I want -2000 or so I'll wait for Stanford and Ohio State.

i could easily see this game going over, under seems to be popping up every post, i think bronxer was first guy who said over. lattimore should be able to run on vandy and vandy brings most of their offense back while south carolina lost over half their defense.

Well this is obvious, as RLM usually is. Obviously the sharps don't always win and it is too late to follow now with the drop below 7. But it is easy to see who they were on.

What Jordan Rodgers shows up? SC's weakness is the secondary, but the best pass defense is a good pass rush which the Cocks definitely have. Keep in mind Rodgers can be very inaccuate. In 4 of 9 games where he saw extensive action, his completion % was under 50%. The line movement screams Vandy, for them to be in this one, I think it needs to be a low scoring game.

Vandys D has a lot of returning experience but the loss of Chris Marve and their two best DBs are major losses. Whereas South Carolina can replace a Melvin Ingram with Clowney, Vandy has no such luxury. A side note is that Vandy is reportedly having trouble selling out for tonight, some seats are still available. Maybe the excitement for Vandy football is a little exaggerated at this point.

Spurrier is already behind the 8-ball considering Georgia has a lighter schedule. He is 21-1 all-time in season openers and will find a way to exploit a Vandy Defense that lost its 3 top tacklers from a year ago...

Vandy's Qb ; 50% completion pct.- 9 TD's last season and 10 Interceptions ... 8 of the TD's were to the same receiver...

Stack the box, make him throw and double Matthews...

Gamecocks 30 Vanderbilt 20 ...

Maybe the sharps just aren't as sharp as they used to be???

I may even throw something down on Wash St +12 ... A trash TD late could keep them inside this number...

I've been loving S. Carolina all week. was looking to buy down to 6 just take at 6.5 but now I'm feeling that this game could stay close. Now I'm leaning toward Washington State tonight. I'm hoping I can get WSU at +14.5 or something insane like that. I think Mike Leach bringing his offense to WSU will help them keep it close tonight.
