    Is Windows Vista that bad?
I 've never used it and we're running XP all on PC's at work.

Saw an article today stating Microsoft is trying to push Windows 7 out by 2009....it was set for release in 2010.

You might have saw that commercial where they bring in idiots to try Vista like they are taste testing Pepsi or something.

    Is Vista that bad?

It's shit. Painfully slow for even the most basic of functions. It may have more bells and whistles (I've never bothered looking for them) but it slower than a snail with a broken leg in treacle.

It is ok. Never had a problem with speed. I have had some compatibility issues. And the interface has some differences.

        Overall, I like XP better.

I dual-boot XP and Vista - Vista's not "slow" by any means when you have a decent PC, but the thing is, install XP on the same machine and you won't wanna go back to Vista. XP frickin' rips on any new machine. I don't play much PC games, so I don't need Vista's Directx 10.

Windows Vista is ok once you get all the latest updates, the best system by far is the MAC system.

vista is a waste of time. xp is more stable, quicker, more concise, and what people are used to.

no good reason to waste time or money on vista

lol what a bunch or parasites

i wonder what their excuse for such a move would be

                      probably microsoft strong arming them

i have not seen such a practice as of yet but it's pretty said if that is indeed the case
