I never understood nascar,but to tell you the truth ,if you spent a good deal on your stereo and television equipment,nascar is the greatest sport in the world to watch.

You feel like you are at a nasa launch watching nascar with a good surround system and hd.My good friend who is an engineer and loves to talk about the tech aspects has a great system to watch it on. He actually has the xbox nascar set up so you feel like you are in the race.A strange sport indeed.A great sport for technophiles.

I drive a race car here at the local track and you'd be surprised how tiring it is after 30 laps or so. Still don't consider it a sport. Nascar blows though. At least in the NBA they get done in a reasonable amount of time.

Nascar is very boring, not even in same league as NBA where the greatest athletes in the world perform.
