How does this game NOT go over?

When the Dodgers acquired Adrian Gonzalez over the weekend, I was determined to play their games over until the linesmakers made an adjustment. Their lineup is suddenly stacked, and their pitching is anything but. Since the acquisition, they are 1-0-1 to the over. Small sample size, I know.

Tonight's matchup of Josh Beckett and Jeff Francis should supply plenty of runs. Are we to believe Josh Beckett's return to the National League is going to suddenly cure his woeful season? It might help, but his stats this season have been dreadful. And as for Jeff Francis, he has an ERA near 7 at home for the year.

These are my two concerns, too.

A motivated Josh Beckett could be scary. And yeah, the weather. Hopefully it's not too damp. Dampness plus the humidor could result in bad news.

I liked this play when I originally looked at lines this morning, but dodgers only hitting .233 against lefties and Beckett should be motivated again plus he has got to be an automatic out when he is up to bat. No play for me but gl to you.
