Turnover percents for high profile QBs
Following a debate in different thread, I decided to look into the turnover rate for high profile NFL QBs. The QBs were Rodgers, the Mannings, Rivers, Brees, Rothilsburger Brady and Romo. The results were kinda interesting.

    Fumbles per game :
    .55 Eli manning
    .52 Rivers
    .48 Brady
    .47 Rothilsburger
    .45 Rodgers
    .44 Brees
    .42 Romo
    .27 Peyton Manning

    Fumbles Lost per game:
    .25 E. Manning
    .24 Rivers
    .23 Rothilsburger
    .21 Brady
    .18 Romo/Brees
    .15 Rodgers
    .09 P.Manning

    Career Interception percentage:
    3.3% E. Manning
    3.0% Rothilsburger
    2.8% Romo
    2.7% P.Manning/Brees
    2.6% Rivers
    2.2% Brady
    1.8% Rodgers

    Interesting stuff.

Course they all have Superbowls except Rivers and Romo. Though Romo looks not to shabby for a QB whom half the board claims is not even top 10 in the league and the biggest thing holding Dallas back.

Romo had more touchdowns and less interceptions then E. Manning, Rivers, and Big Ben.

Everybody talks about the Jets game last year and the meltdown vs the Lions, and says Romo can not win big games, amazingly those early games were "Big games" but not the game where he came back and beat the best defense 49ers with a broken rib and punctured lung while throwing the ball to Jesse Holly, or the comeback vs the Dolphins (another top 10 defense) The two comebacks vs the Redskins (NFC East Rival)

Everybody claims he choked vs the Giants even though in the first game he put up amazing numbers, the defense blew the late lead, Miles Austin lost the ball in the lights, and Romo still drove them down the field in 30 seconds for the game tying fg. The first one was iced, the 2nd one was blocked.

Alas, people acknowledge what they want to acknowledge.

NFL is a top to bottom league, in which much of your success is predicated on good ownership and front office moves. ROMO HAS to deal with a meddling owner, former head coach was Wade Phillips, and his most dynamic option offensively, Bryant, is inconsistent. Now that Witten is most likely out for the season, Romo has even more hardships. He is the easy taget, and media whipping boy. Much of th3e Cowboys failures has been out of his hands.
